ABOUT BAG TO SCHOOL
Bag To School was founded on the firm belief that learning is a lifelong process that is essential for shaping successful lives and building a prosperous community.
SO WHY BAG TO SCHOOL?
During the Covid-19 pandemic situation in the past years, many parents were already struggling to make ends meet due to employment losses and pay cuts.
While Singapore is slowly recovering, rising inflation and economic uncertainties impose significant financial burdens on many households, threatening to hinder their children's educational progress.
HOW IS IT DISTRIBUTED?
We have gathered inputs from our beneficiaries over the years about what is necessary for them to succeed in their educational endeavors. Many students, for example, require school bags, shoes, stationery, and other
supplies.
As a result, we have determined that providing them with vouchers is the best way to meet their educational material needs. They have the ability to make their own choices.
WHY SHOULD I BE PART OF THIS?
With the help of our generous sponsors and contributors, we have successfully assisted 1,500 students in the previous two campaigns in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
