FOUNDATIONAL LESSONS
Caters to first time students by equipping them with sufficient knowledge for the lessons to come.

Online Registration
Registration for year 2024 new intake opens from 31st October 2023 until 22nd December 2023.
Walk-in registration is not available and will not be accepted.
Special Needs
As our Asatizah are not trained to manage children with special needs, acceptance of students with special conditions will be on a case to case basis.
Age Group
Classes offered are for students at the age of 5 to 17 (Pre-School to Secondary 5).
We advise that students are registered according to their MOE level in 2024. However, students with no prior Islamic education may be enrolled in Madrasah up to 1 year below their MOE level, e.g. enrolling an 8-year-old in Primary 1.
Book Purchase
Annual book purchase may be required.
Parents may apply for our Book Assistance Scheme to waive the payments, subject to approval based on the household Per Capita Income (PCI).

Dress Code
Madrasah uniforms are not provided, however, we do require our students to follow a standard dress code to maintain uniformity and modesty.

ABOUT
OUR MADRASAH
Nur Insan (then Nur Insan Educational Hub) was set up in 2002 under our previous parent association, The Muslim Social Welfare Association of Sembawang. It was led by the late Mr Ameerjan bin Haji Sheriff and the late Ustazah Aminah Binte Ibrahim.
The initial purpose of setting up the learning centre was to serve the low income families in the northern sector of Singapore. As families would normally prioritise secular education, Nur Insan was aimed to help less fortunate families with Islamic knowledge through free education.
